Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in Westminster.

Officers were called at 03: 17hrs on Monday, 13 June to the A40, Westbourne Park following a road traffic collision involving a lorry and a BMW car.

Police responded with the London Ambulance Service, London’s Air Ambulance and the London Fire Brigade.

A male passenger in the car, aged 19, was treated at the scene. Despite the efforts of paramedics he was pronounced dead.

His next of kin are aware.

The 21-year-old driver was taken to hospital, where he remains. He has been arrested on suspicion of causing death whilst uninsured aggravated vehicle taking. He has been bailed until July.

There have been no other arrests.
