Two men have been charged with the murder of Jeremiah Sewell in Lewisham.

[A] Godfrey Tanishe Madondo 19 (05.02.03) of Colegrove Road, Southwark and [B] Kadjo Kadio 18 (01.07.04) of Crown Drive, Romford, were charged on Tuesday, 19 July.

They appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 20 July, where they were remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, 22 July.

Two 19-year-old women who were arrested on Tuesday, 19 July on suspicion of murder and perverting the course of justice remain in custody.

An 18-year-old man arrested on Sunday, 17 July on suspicion of murder has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

A murder investigation was launched on Saturday, 16 July after Jeremiah attended a south London hospital with stab injuries to his neck. Sadly, he later died in hospital.
